FAMILY

During the year we met with all our children and grandchildren, but not all at the same time.

We visited Sweden in August, where we spent time with Petter, Cecilia, Josefin, Julia and David in Stockholm.

Julia visited Botswana three times where she spent time with Moleko, Kutlo, Nyaladzi and Chedu.

We had more opportunities to be with Anna, Safi and Asali, who live in New Jersey, a 4-hour drive from Washington DC.

While all was relatively well during the year, Anna and Safi went through a difficult time because of their daughter Asali who had an open heart surgery in June. She has recovered very well and is taking her first toddler's steps.
