Marathon, one of the "Keys" in Florida

TRAVEL

We got a chance to get away from Washington DC several times. This year's destinations were Key West in Florida; Cape May in New Jersey; Maine; and Sweden.

Both Florida and Cape May treated us to beautiful beaches and Sweden quenched our nostalgic love for forest walks (picking wild mushrooms and berries) and eating crayfish.

Julia attended Annelie Bremberg's golden birthday anniversary (unfortunately no pictures). We also honored our annual meeting with Swedish friends who had worked and lived in Botswana many years ago.

In Maine, we ate lobster for breakfast, lunch and supper and had wonderful excursions guided by our friend Glenda Booth from Tauxemont.
